Metropolitan Vasilios of Constantia and Ammochostos attended the ceremony of the enthronement of the seventh Archbishop of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, Elpidophoros, on Saturday June 22, as representative of Church of Cyprus and Archbishop Chrysostomos of Cyprus.
Metropolitan of Constantia was accompanied by the chief of the Metropolitan Church of St. Georgios in Paralimni, Protopresbyterian Iraklidios Xiouros.
Greek Cypriot Negotiator for Cyprus problem, Ambassador Andreas Mavroyiannis attended the enthronement ceremony as representative of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades.
