On Saturday, May 25, 2024, Protopresbyter Eugen Pentiuc, the Dean of Hellenic College Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, along with professors and students of the College, paid a visit to the Halki School of Theology.
The Abbot, Bishop Kassianos of Arabissos, extended a warm welcome to the guests within the venerable halls of the Great Synodikon of the School. He expressed gratitude for their presence at this historic spiritual institution of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, highlighting its significant journey and contributions to theological scholarship and the Orthodox Church as a whole.
In his response, Dean Fr. Eugen expressed his delight at the opportunity for the current visit and discussed potential areas of collaboration between the two faculties.
Afterwards, the visitors were given a tour of the Holy Trinity Church, the old classrooms, and the historic Library of the School.
