The Orthros and Divine Liturgy were performed on Sunday at the chapel of Saint Germanos, Archbishop of Constantinople, situated in the narthex of the Theological School of Halki. The services were performed by the Abbot of the Holy Trinity, Bishop Kassianos of Arabissos.
Following the Divine Liturgy, the Abbot conducted the artoklasia in honor of the Saint, along with a Trisagion service commemorating the late Patriarch Germanos IV, who founded the Theological School of Halki 180 years ago. Additionally, services were held in memory of other notable figures associated with the school, including the late Metropolitans and graduates such as Germanos, Professor and Scholarch from 1907-1922, Germanos of Theodoroupolis, Abbot from 1991-1995, and Germanos of Tranoupolis, a long-standing member and President of the School’s Ephorate.
The services attracted significant attendance from pilgrims from Greece.
