On Sunday, July 7, Bishop Kassianos of Arabissos celebrated the Orthros and Divine Liturgy at the church of the Theological School of Halki. After the Divine Liturgy, the Abbot led a Trisagion for the repose of the soul of the late Patriarch Athenagoras, an esteemed graduate of the School, marking the 52nd anniversary of his passing.
The service was attended by large groups of pilgrims from various regions of Greece, reflecting the deep reverence and respect for the late Patriarch.
Following the commemoration, the Abbot participated in a prayer service for the health of a group of pilgrims from Cyprus, led by Archimandrite Dimitrianos Demetriou. The Abbot welcomed the group to the School, sharing insights into its rich history and the significant contributions it has made to the Church over the years.
