The church of Holy Trinity in the town of Resistencia, the construction of which began by the youngest diocese of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Diocese of Buenos Aires and South-Central America, upon the blessing of then Administrator of the Diocese Metropolitan Amfilohije, has been getting its shape.
The church is being constructed on the land which was donated to the Serbian Orthodox Church by the Ministry of Education of the Province of Chaco upon the proposal of Mayor of Resistencia Mr. Jorje (Djordje) Kapitanic.
The decree on the allotment of land for the construction of the Church of the Holy Trinity was signed by the Governor of the Province Mr. Domingo Pepo just over a year ago to the general satisfaction of the numerous descendants of expatriates from Montenegro and Serbia, as well as of the associations that bring together descendants of the Greeks, Ukrainians, Russians, Bulgarians, and Antiochians.
