Former Minister of Tourism Elena Kountoura visited this morning Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and all Greece and informed him about the new Action contained in the Decision signed on Monday, May 14, by the Special Secretary of the NSRF entitled “Upgrading the Infrastructure and Services of Pilgrimage Tourism.”
Beneficiaries of the Action are the Holy Archdiocese of Athens and twelve Holy Metropolises. Specifically the Metropolises of: Zakynthos, Mytilene, Preveza, Arta, Petra, Kissamos, Sitia, Gortys, Rhodes, Kos, Nafpaktos and Mantineia.
The Action Budget is 8,000,000 euros while the call will open on June 10 and will remain open for at least 15 months so that the Beneficiaries have sufficient time to prepare and submit their complete applications for the funding.
