Archbishop Makarios of Australia presided over the Orthros and the Divine Liturgy at the Church of Saints Raphael, Nicholas and Eirini in Liverpool, Sydney, on the morning of Sunday, April 11, the Fourth Sunday of the Holy Lent.
In his homily, he announced the appointment of Fr. Asterios Zouriakas as the new priest in charge of the Parish.

At the same time, the Archbishop presented the outgoing President of the Church Council with the Silver Cross of Saint Andrew the First-Called and thanked him and the other members of the Council for their contribution to the Church.
In their speeches, both Fr. Prochoros and the newly appointed Fr. Asterios thanked the Archbishop for his support and guidance in their life and ministry while they showed gratitude for the Archbishop’s love.
