The 77th anniversary of D-Day, the day of the Allied forces landing in Normandy, codenamed “Operation Poseidon”, was commemorated by Archbishop Elpidophoros of America in a post on social media yesterday.
“Let us all pause for a moment to remember those who sacrificed their lives to defeat tyranny, that we might live ours in freedom,” said the Archbishop of America.
