On Sunday, April 21, 2024, Metropolitan Apostolos of New Jersey celebrated the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy for the 5th Sunday of Holy and Great Lent at the Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church in Holmdel, New Jersey.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy Metropolitan Apostolos tonsured 9 young men as Acolytes of the Orthodox Church and offered the 40-day blessing service to the newly born baby Andreas. In his sermon, Metropolitan Apostolos reflected on the need for us to continue to prepare ourselves spiritually and physically for the upcoming spiritual journey through Holy Week.
