A 16th century church in Granada, Spain, will be used by the Russian Church.
According to an announcement issued by the Patriarchate of Moscow, an official handover ceremony of the Church of St. Apostle Bartholomew was held last week for its use by the “the Russian Orthodox parish of the Patriarchate of Moscow”.
According to the same announcement, this is an implementation of an agreement reached on October 13, 2020 between the “hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church, Archbishop Nestor of Madrid and Lisbon, and the Catholic Archbishop of Granada, Francisco Javier Martinez Fern.”
