With particular grandeur, on Sunday, 26 March 2023, at the Holy Church of Saint Alexander in Lusaka, Zambia, a Divine Liturgy, and Doxology were celebrated for the anniversary of the Greek Regeneration and the National Anniversary of 1821.
The great feast of the Mother of God, the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos was also festively celebrated.
The Consul General of Greece, Michael Krupnik, read the message of the President of the Hellenic Republic, Ms. Katerina Sakellaropoulou. The panegyric address of the day was read by the teacher, Ms. Kalliopi Papagiannaki.
Afterwards, a Memorial Service was held for the repose of the souls of all those who fought and fell for the faith and the country, followed by the laying of wreaths on the column of the fallen.
