On Sunday, November 26, with the blessing of Archbishop Makarios of Australia, Bishop Elpidios of Kyanea presided over the Orthros and the Divine Liturgy at the Church of Saints Constantine and Helen, on the feast of Saint Stylianos.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, a memorial service was held for the late Archbishop of Australia, Stylianos (Charkianakis). In his homily, Bishop Elpidios reminded the faithful that Archbishop Stylianos led the Holy Archdiocese for 44 years, before the arrival of Archbishop Makarios in Australia.
Before distributing the antidoron, the Bishop wished all the best to the youngest parishioner of the Parish of Saints Constantine and Helen, Stylianos Gerovasilis, for his name day. He is only 5 months old.
