Former Alternate Minister of Immigration Policy Yiannis Mouzalas praised the important contribution of the Church in resolving the problems of the people, refugees and migrants during his meeting this morning with Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and all Greece.
Yiannis Mouzalas expressed his gratification for the meeting with the Archbishop stressing that he has “close ties with the effort of the Archbishop and the positive contribution of the Church to the difficulties of the people, refugees and immigrants.
He also invited the Archbishop at an event on diversity that will be held at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation by the Athens School of Fine Arts, the Union of Greek Philosophers and the Bioethics Department of the University of Athens.
Then, the Archbishop thanked Mouzalas for the visit and the invitation, while he referred to the collaboration they had in previous years on the refugee issue. The Archbishop said that this cooperation was fruitful.
