A two-day official visit to London is payed since yesterday, Wednesday, April 3, by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Cyprus, Savvas Angelidis.
During his visit, he met with Archbishop Gregorios of Thyateira.
The meeting of the Cypriot Minister of Defense with Archbishop Gregorios was held at the Holy Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain.
After welcoming the Minister of Defense in London, the Archbishop referred to the work of the Archdiocese, as well as to various issues of the Greek expats.
On his side, Angelidis asked for the greetings and blessings of the Archbishop, while informing him about the meeting he had with Archbishop Demetrios of America on the previous day.
Finally, the Cypriot minister had earlier this day been a speaker at a ceremony at the Royal United Services Institute for Defense and Security Studies (RUSI) on “Cyprus and Emerging Threats in the Eastern Mediterranean.”
