Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will take part in the Greece, Israel, Cyprus trilateral meeting that will be held in Jerusalem on Sunday 22 August.
According to a Foreign Ministry announcement, Dendias will hold talks with his Israeli counterpart Yair Lapid before the meeting.
Later, he will participate with his counterparts Yair Lapid and Nicos Christodoulides in the trilateral meeting that will focus on the regional developments and to other sectors of cooperation as combatting wildfires, the pandemic and the protection of the environment.
After the meeting, statements to the press are expected.
Afterwards, Dendias will take part in a trilateral meeting with his Cypriot counterpart Christodoulides and the Energy Minister of Israel Karin Elharar.
Later, Dendias will be meeting with the Prime Minister of Israel Naftali Bennet and afterwards, he will be received by the President of Israel Isaac Herzog. The visit will be concluded with a meeting with the Deputy prime minister and Defence Minister of Israel Benny Gantz.
During the bilateral meeting, they will discuss Greece’s close cooperation with Israel in all sectors as well as the developments in the eastern Mediterranean and the wider region of the Middle East.
