Ruins of a middle Byzantine church, in particular a three-aisled timber-roofed basilica, probably built between 10th-12th centuries, at a site of unclarified character of the Early Christian period (4th-6th centuries), are preserved in Glyki of Souli, near the mythical Acheron river.
These ruins were lighted up in order to be highlighted and promoted for targeted religious and archaeological tourism.
The project, since the study was approved by the Ephorate of Antiquities of Thesprotia, which also had the scientific guidance, was implemented by the Municipality of Souli.
