The Islamic Mosque in Athens opens its gates tomorrow. Tomorrow, Minister of Education and Religious Affairs Kostas Gavroglu has planned a visit to the mosque (at 114 Iera Odos str, in the area of Votanikos) in order to be informed about the progress of the project.
The works outside of the mosque have been completed, while only a few things remain to be done in the interior. Of course, the mosque cannot operate yet, since its Agency was published on May 20, and it is too early to staff a new service, as Kathimerini newspaper reports.
