On Tuesday and Wednesday, November 7 and 8, the feast of the Synaxis of the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel, was celebrated at the Church of Archangel Michael of Panormitis in the suburb of Crows Nest in Sydney.
With the blessing of Archbishop Makarios of Australia, on the eve of the feast, Bishop Iakovos of Militoupolis presided over the Divine Liturgy, who, addressing the congregation, reminded of the presence of angels in our lives and especially of the guardian angel given to us through Holy Baptism. The Bishop also conveyed the wishes, blessings and love of Archbishop Makarios.
On Wednesday morning, Metropolitan Seraphim of Sebastia presided over the Divine Liturgy, referring to the presence of the angels at the Divine Liturgy as experienced by the Saints and the Fathers of our Church.
