Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine presided over the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Dormition of the Theotokos in the Lavra of Kyiv on the day of the feast of the Lord’s entry into Jerusalem.
Metropolitan Clement of Simferopol and Crimea, Metropolitan Efstratios of Bila Cherkva, Archbishop Iakovos of Drohobych, Archbishop Lavrentios of Lugansk and Starobil, Archbishop Germanos of Chernivtsi, Archbishop Agapit of Vischorod, Archbishop Mitrophan of Kharkov, and Archimandrite Abraham, Abbot of the Monastery concelebrated the Divine Liturgy.
After reading the Gospel, Metropolitan Epifaniy delivered the Divine Speech and made a special request to the Lord, at a time when the Homeland is in danger.
During the service, prayers were also heard for the soldiers defending Ukraine, for the people, and for the repose of the souls of all the fallen defenders of the homeland.
