The director of the Greek National Tourism Organization (EOT), Polykarpos Efstathiou, on behalf of Minister of Tourism Elena Kountoura, delivered to Archimandrite Spyridon Katramados, secretary of the board of directors of the Synod Office, an honoris causa diploma, during the visit of the Greek Church delegation to the MITT 2019 Exhibition in Moscow.
During the International Exhibition MITT 2019, the members of the delegation distributed audiovisual material about the Holy Shrines and Monasteries and other religious monuments of the Metropolises of the Church of Greece and met with various representatives of the Greek Regions, as well as of Greek professionals – tourist agents.
The delegation went to the Church of All Saints of the Patriarchate of Alexandria, for a predetermined partnership meeting with Metropolitan Athanasios of Cyrene, Exarch of the Patriarchate of Alexandria in Russia.
On the afternoon of the same day the delegation of the Church of Greece was invited to attend a special ceremony at the exhibition venue, where the chairman and members of the Organization of the Exhibition MITT 2019 presented for the first time the First Prize to the Greek Pavilion for its organization and presentation.
The circle of contacts and meetings of the delegation of the Synod Office of Pilgrimage Tours of the Church of Greece in Moscow, in the conext of the International Tourism Fair MITT 2019, will be completed today.
