The restoration of the facades of the temple of Ag. Dimitrios and the church of Agios Dimitrios in the municipality of Lavreotiki is being restored.
The restoration of the facades of the temple of Ag. Dimitrios and the landscaping of the site located in the central square of Keratea in the Municipality of Lavreotiki, with a budget of 495,000 euros, is financed by the Region of Attica, following the programme agreement signed with the church.
This temple is a typical example of the late Greek-Byzantine architecture, in the region of southeastern Attica. Its construction dates back to 1905-1908 and although it is not a declared monument, it is part of the buildings built before the last 100 years.
The project includes, among others, earthworks, demolitions, clampings, masonry, overlays/coatings, maintenance and repair of frames, landscaping of the site.
