Today, Monday, February 4, Ambassador of the United States of America to Greece, Geoffrey R. Pyatt, visited Metropolitan Anthimos of Thessaloniki at the Bishopric of the Holy Metropolis.
It is worth mentioning that the US Ambassador was accompanied by the US Consul General in Thessaloniki, Gregory W. Pfleger, Jr.
The US Ambassador was warmly welcomed by the Metropolitan of Thessaloniki and expressed his gratification for this meeting.
“It is always a pleasure to meet Metropolitan Anthimos, discuss about the important role of the Church in Northern Greece and express the support of the United States in the region,” said the US Ambassador.
