The students from the high school of the Zografeion Lyceum of Constantinople, together with the students of the Prince’s Island Primary School, accompanied by principals, vice-principals and teachers, visited the Holy Theological School of Chalki on Wednesday, June 14, within the framework of learning about environmental action.
The tour began with a pilgrimage to Agios Nikolaos of Chalki and a walk through the plush green paths. It continued with a tour of the historical library, the classrooms and the Katholikon Church of the Monastery of the Holy Trinity, and lunch with the brotherhood and His Eminence Metropolitan Dimitrios of Kefallinia, and finally a cutting of a cake for students’ birthdays.
The Abbot of the Monastery of the Holy Trinity, His Grace Bishop Kassianos of Aravissos, addressed the students with encouraging words, who also very much enjoyed his generous hospitality.
