The presence of Orthodox Christianity is needed in Europe, and the Russian Orthodox Church is planning to open new churches there; in Cyprus and Sweden, in the immediate future.
“Churches in Cyprus – in Limassol – and in Sweden will soon be put into service,” Father Alexander Volkov, the spokesman for Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, said at a press conference in Moscow on Tuesday, according to Interfax.
