Retired General Michalis Kostarakos visited the Library of Metropolis of Chios

General Michael Kostarakos and Metropolitan Markos of Chios, Psara and Oinousses

General Michael Kostarakos visited the Library of the Metropolis of Chios, Psara and Oinousses “St. Agapitos” on Sunday, April 7, former chairman of the European Union Military Committee and Honorary Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff.

Metropolitan Markos of Chios, Psara and Oinousses accompanied the General and showed him the premises of the library.

The General expressed his admiration for the quality of the Library and the large number of scientific books. He also praised the contribution of the Church to the people of Chios.
