The maintenance and restoration works of the building of Axion Esti Monastery in Northcote, Victoria, are underway.
Despite the difficulties resulting from the COVID-19-related restrictions into force from time to time in Victoria, the teams that have undertaken the implementation of the project continue to work for its completion as soon as possible as reported by vema.com.au.
The aim is to repair the damage that has accumulated over the last many years, due to the lack of maintenance of the building complex, and the necessary interventions are carried out with respect to the historicity and its special architectural physiognomy.
It is reminded that this demanding project is implemented by Andronas Conservation Architecture, owned by the award-winning Greek-Australian architect, Arthur Andronas, which has been involved in many similar projects in emblematic buildings of Australia.
