The President of the Supreme Court (Arios Pagos) Mr. Vasilios Peppas, who is in Crete at the time, visited Metropolitan Amphilochios of Kissamos and Selino.
During their meeting, Amphilochios informed Mr. Peppas about the spiritual, cultural, welfare and social service provided by the Metropolis. Furthermore, the Metropolitan referred to his predecessor, Irenaios, and the valuable heritage he consigned to the forthcoming generations.
As the Metropolitan of Kissamos and Selino said, “The visit of the President of the Supreme Court Vasileios Peppas is a great honor for me and our Metropolis”.
From his part, Mr. Peppas expressed his gratitude and admiration for the ongoing prominent work of the Metropolis and concluded that “The Church works unceasingly for the benefit of society”.
