Poland repeats herself in her reaction to the recognition of the Church of Ukraine by the Church of Greece

Holy Synod of the Church of Poland

Following the noise caused by the decision of the Church of Greece to put an end to the “thriller” of the recognition of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, the support for the Church of Russia came through Warsaw, where the Holy Synod of the Polish Church decided for the fourth time to restate its refusal for the Autocephaly to be granted to “schismatics”.

In essence, by repeating a decision that has been made three times in the past, the Church of Poland does not deny the right of Ukraine to acquire an Autocephalous Church, as this would directly affect its own Autocephaly issued by Constantinople, that disfellowshipped the territories of the present Church of Poland from the ecclesiastical jurisdiction of Kiev. But once again she objects to the ordination of the clergymen of the Autocephalous Church, which, she repeats, she cannot recognize.

This move, which comes just days after the publication of the peaceful letter of the Primate of the Church of Greece to Metropolitan Epiphaniy of Kyiv, cannot be considered a coincidence in the battle of impressions that has erupted, especially within the Church of Russia, that wishes to show, in every way, that it retains control.
