Orthodox Christian Fellowship (OCF), the official campus ministry of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America, has announced its annual observance of a Day of Prayer will be held February 26-27, 2023, from 6 PM (Eastern) on the Sunday of Forgiveness, until 6 PM (Eastern) on Clean Monday.
OCF chapters from coast to coast will participate in 1,440 minutes of continuous prayer. Since 2003, the Day of Prayer program has united the various chapters across North America in unceasing prayer at the start of Great Lent. Chapters on college and university campuses sign up for a time, with each school taking a one-hour slot to pray for themselves, their chapters, their fellow students, and their loved ones.
Time slot sign-up for students and chapters is going on now. Day of Prayer event details may be found at https://www.ocf.net/day-of-prayer/
OCF Orthodox Christian Fellowship (OCF) offers college students a rich community in Christ, inspiring a life-long love of God and neighbor. OCF serves as the official campus ministry agency of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America.
