On Tuesday, 27 February 2024, the Holy Theological School of Halki was visited by Metropolitan Ignatios of Demetrias and Damaskinos of Aetolia and Acarnania, who is leading a fifty-member group of clergy and lay pilgrims from his Eparchy.
The Hierarchs and the pilgrims were received in the Great Synod of the Theological School by the Abbot of the Monastery of the Holy Trinity, Bishop Kassianos of Aravissos, who welcomed them to the historic spiritual institution of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, referring to its long history and its contribution to the Church and the Nation.
Afterwards, the visitors venerated at the Chapel of the Holy Trinity and were guided around the classrooms and other areas of the School.
