On Friday, June 7, 2019, the President of the Department for External Church Relations (DECR) of the Patriarchate of Moscow, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, visited the Holy Land.
During his stay, Metropolitan of Volokolamsk visited to the Patriarchate of Jerusalem.
There he was welcomed by Patriarch Theophilos at the seat of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem.
Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk transmitted to the Patriarch of Jerusalem the heartfelt and warmest wishes of Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.
Patriarch Theophilos and Metropolitan Hilarion exchanged views on inter-Orthodox relations and talked about issues that concern Orthodoxy all over the world.
