In the Bishopric of the Holy Metropolis of Thessaloniki, Metropolitan Anthimos was awarded an honorary doctorate from the School of Pastoral and Social Theology of the Faculty of Theology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
The event was attended by the Metropolitans Panteleimon of Vryoula, Nikolaos of Fthiotida, Anthimos of Alexandroupolis, Ioannis of Lagadas, Liti and Redini, David of Grevena, Bishops Dimitrios of Thermi and Nikiforos of Amori, as well as professors of the Faculty of Theology.
The professor of the School of Pastoral and Social Theology, Michael Tritos, praised the Metropolitan.
