Metropolitan Epiphamiy of Kyiv expressed his gratitude to Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria for the commemoration of the Church of Ukraine, the name of which is now written in the Diptychs.
In other words, the Church of Alexandria also recognised the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. During a phone conversation on Friday, Metropolitan Epiphaniy thanked Patriarch Theodore for his support. In addition, they discussed their plans for the future on a bilateral level in order to contribute to the development of better communication between the two Churches.
