Metropolitan Ambrosios of Korea and Exarch of Japan delivered a speech at the Youth Center of Aegina on January 31, 2024, during an event organized by the Metropolis of Hydra, Spetses and Aegina in Greece. The event was attended by Metropolitan Ephraim of Hydra and Aegina.
Archimandrite Amfilochios Geladakis, the Supervisor of Aegina, initiated the event with the opening address.
The fathers of the Metropolis then sang hymns in honor of the Holy Three Hierarchs.
During his speech, Metropolitan Ambrosios focused on the theme, “The event of the Annunciation is not a choice but a commandment of Christ to all”. The event also featured a documentary showcasing the activities of the Korean Orthodox Church.
Expressing gratitude at the event’s conclusion, Metropolitan Ephraim of Hydra extended thanks to the organizers, priests, Deputy Mayor, President of the Municipal Council, and specifically acknowledged the teachers in Aegina to whom the event was dedicated. The occasion concluded with a luncheon.
