On Wednesday, 31 January 2024, a fifteen-member group of teachers and students from the Athonias Ecclesiastical School, under the leadership of Father Georgios Vatopedinos and Father Artemios from the Cell of Saint Nicholas in Karyes, visited the Holy Theological School of Halki, as part of an educational trip to Constantinople.
The Abbot of the Monastery of the Holy Trinity, Bishop Kassianos of Aravissos, and the brotherhood of the monastery received the visitors in the Great Synod Room of the School, where he welcomed them all with warm words, referring to the history of the Theological School of Halki, but also offered paternal advice to the young students for the course of their studies and their later lives.
Afterwards, the visitors were guided around the classrooms, the impressive Library, and other areas of the School, after which they were farewelled by the Abbot, Bishop Kassianos.
