The two Metropolitans asked Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew for his blessing after taking up their ministerial appointment.
The Ecumenical Patriarch congratulated the two Metropolitans and wished them much success in their pastoral work.
The two Metropolitans were accompanied by Archim. Nicholas Gianousas from the Metropolis of Kastoria and Archim. Seraphim Stergiou and the Abbot of the Holy Patriarchal and Stavropegial Monastery of Agios Nikanoras of Zavorda.
