On Wednesday, 4 October 2023, a large group of clergy and lay pilgrims from the Holy Metropolis of Karpenisi, under the leadership of Metropolitan Georgios of Karpenisi visited the Holy Theological School of Chalki.
The Abbot of the Monastery of the Holy Trinity, Bishop Kassianos of Aravissos, welcomed the guests in the Great Synodikon of the School. He welcomed them to the historical institution of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and referred to the history and contribution of the School to the Church and the Nation.
After their tour of the Chapel of the Holy Trinity the classrooms, the historical library and the other areas of the School, the visitors were offered a meal in their honour, which was blessed by Metropolitan Georgios.
