Metropolitan Maximos of Ioannina paid an official visit to the Theological School of Halki today, accompanied by a large group of pilgrims from his region, which included Maria Kefala, Deputy Minister of Social Cohesion and Family.
Welcomed by the Abbot, Bishop Kassianos of Arabissos, the group gathered at the church of the Holy Trinity and the Great Synodikon of the School. Bishop Kassianos provided insights into the School’s extensive history. Metropolitan Maximos, named after the last Scholarch of the Chalkitis School, Maximos of Stavroupolis, expressed joy for the visit. The visitors were then guided through the School’s classrooms, the historic Library, and other significant areas.
