In the presence of the French Prime Minister Jean Castex, Prince Albert of Monaco, the President of the Senate of France, Mayor of Nice Christian Estrosi and other officials, a ceremony was held yesterday at the Castle of Nice in France in memory of the three victims of the terrorist attacks in Nice on October 29.
Metropolitan Emmanuel of France, accompanied by the priest in charge of the Church of St. Spyridon in Nice, Fr. Michael Seliniotakis, together with the Roman Catholic Bishop of Nice, the president of the Protestant Federation of France, and the president of the French Council of the Muslim Faith attended the ceremony which was held with a limited number of officials due to COVID-19 protection measures.
In a speech, the French prime minister referred to the latest terrorist attack in France while presented the three victims with an honorary award on behalf of France.
