The Despotic Feast of the Epiphany was celebrated in the Holy Cathedral of St. Stephen in Paris.
Metropolitan Demetrios of France officiated the Divine Liturgy on the day of the feast, Friday, January 6, accompanied by the priests of the church.
After the end of the Divine Liturgy, the Metropolitan performed the Great Sanctification of the Epiphany. Present were the Director of the Consular Office of Greece in Paris, George Kontos, the President of the Greek Community of Paris and Surroundings, Seta Theodoridou, and parishioners.
On the Sunday after the Epiphany, January 8, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated, officiated by Bishop Eirinaios of Rigion, and co-celebrated by the vicars of the church. The Ambassador of Greece to France, Dimitrios Zevelakis, was present.
After the end of the Divine Liturgy, Bishop Bishop Eirinaios and in the presence of the Ambassador, the ceremony of the immersion of the Holy Cross on the Seine was held with the participation of believers from Paris and Greece.
