Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine presided over the Great Compline service at the church of Saint Michael in Kyiv on Wednesday, March 9, 2022.
The service was co-officiated by Metropolitan Kliment of Simferopol and Crimea, Archbishop Yevstratiy of Cherniyiv and Nizin, Archbishop Agapit of Vyshgorod, and other clergymen.
In the morning, the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine performed the first Divine Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts.
During the service, prayers were heard for the soldiers who defend Ukraine, for the people, and for the repose of the souls of all the fallen defenders of the Homeland and the citizens.
In addition, Metropolitan Epifaniy prayed for the liberation of Ukraine from the invasion of foreigners.
