The meeting of the Holy Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, which took place on Wednesday and Thursday, July 22 and 23, concluded.
The Holy Synod took place in the Holy Trinity Monastery in Halki, where the doctrines of the ecumenical councils and the patristic tradition were posted on the wall, especially that of Chalcedon.
During the meeting, all the issues of the agenda were discussed, and “the appropriate decisions were made.”
At the end of the last day of the meeting, both Metropolitan Jeremiah of Ankara and the Ecumenical Patriarch delivered addresses and replies.
