Archbishop Eirinaios of Crete is being treated at the University Hospital of Heraklion for the sixth day.
The Archbishop is being hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital, where he was admitted with acute hypertonic respiratory failure.
According to the latest medical bulletin, his medical state is stable.
“He is awake, he has communication with the environment and remains aerodynamically stable and without fever. At the end of the outpatient examinations, it was decided that a tracheostomy must be performed, which is well tolerated.”
