Archbishop Sotirios celebrated the Holy Resurrection Service at the Cathedral of St. Nicholas in Toronto. He was assisted by Frs. Nicolas P. Andreou and Triantafillos Porfiris. Thousands of pious faithful gathered together to experience and celebrate the Glorious Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Following the distribution of the Holy Light, the Archbishop led parishioners outside to proclaim the Gospel Reading and chant “Christ Is Risen!” The Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom was then celebrated; following the holy service, Archbishop Sotirios handed out traditional Easter Eggs to all the faithful.
