“Τhe church is no one’s monopoly”, P. Kouroumplis, former minister, stated at the television channel Open Beyond.
“I have my own views concerning what is called Orthodoxy and Church, and therefore I argue that these fields are no one’s monopoly. The clergy is not just spiritual people in a church, they are also social workers”, mr. Kouroumplis characteristically stated.
“Concerning the (ecclesiastic) property, I support the government. I also favor Article 3, because I believe that Orthodoxy has no need for this embrace”, mr. Kouroumplis mentioned.
“The lowest ranks of the clerics should be secured by any means, because they are family men, with many children, and they need support. So, they should not be cut off the State”, mr. Kouroumplis stressed.
