Islamists will demonstrate out of Hagia Sophia requesting it will become a mosque

By Romfea.news

Islamists call a new demonstration outside Hagia Sophia next Friday, February 1, requesting to operate it as a mosque.

84 years after declaring Hagia Sophia to be a museum on February 1, 1935, a group of fanatical Muslims urges people, with posters and videos channeled into the social media, to gather outside Hagia Sophia, after Friday’s prayer at 14:00, in order to shout, “break the chains” and ask the government to turn the historic monument into a mosque.

“Dear friends, all Muslims are invited to come to the demonstration that we will organize after Friday’s prayer on February 1, 2019, to shout ‘Open Hagia Sophia, break the chains’.”

“As you know, on February 1, 1935, the mosque of Hagia Sophia became a museum. We will be in the square, on February 1, to demand Hagia Sophia become again a mosque. We will pray with Allah. We are hoping that we will break this curse,” one of the organizers said.
