The Montenegrin Foreign Ministry has increased the level of security at its embassies in the capitals of Serbia and Slovenia, Belgrade and Ljubljana respectively, following the incidents that have occurred in recent days on the occasion of the new law on religious freedom passed by the Montenegrin parliament, which the Serbian Orthodox Church denounces will end up looting the monasteries and churches.
The Montenegrin Ministry of Interior issued a statement stressing that, based on security assessments by the competent services, the level of security has increased to Level II in the buildings of the Montenegrin embassies in Belgrade and Ljubljana.
