The Holy Synod of the Hierarchy of the Church of Greece, chaired by Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece, met today, Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at its third regular session, in the Conference Room of the Holy Synod.
Following the prayer, the list of the participating Hierarchs was read and a quorum was declared.
Subsequently, the minutes of yesterday’s Session were ratified.
Also, Metropolitan Ieronymos of Larissa and Tyrnavos read a proposal on the subject: “Amendment of
Regulations 8/1979 and 305/2018”. A discussion on the proposal followed and then it was approved.
Finally, the dates for the ordinations of the elected Metropolitans and Auxiliary Bishops were announced.
