During the ceremony, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew expressed his gratitude to Nicholas Pateras for his unwavering dedication and support to the Church, praising his commitment to meeting the needs of St. Nicholas Church. In turn, Nicholas Pateras humbly acknowledged the honor bestowed upon him, emphasizing that his philanthropic endeavors are deeply rooted in his familial legacy and sacred duty.
The ceremony was attended by prominent Hierarchs from the Church of Greece and abroad, as well as distinguished politicians, clergy, and laypersons.
