On Monday, November 13, in the context of the pastoral visit of Archbishop Makarios of Australia to the capital of South Australia, a Hierarchical Synaxis of the clergy of the Archdiocesan District of Adelaide was held at the Cathedral of the Wisdom of God in the presence of Bishop Silouan of Sinope and Bishop Bartholomew of Charioupolis.
Archbishop Makarios spoke to the clergy about the life, work and virtues of Saint John Chrysostom, Archbishop of Constantinople, celebrated on this day. In particular, he focused on the ecclesiology, theology and missionary activity of Saint Chrysostom, while answering relevant questions posed by the clergy.
Practical and administrative issues were also discussed during the meeting.
